Hate shouldn't Seperate

Before - After

I am a little upset at New York.

They are opening a completely gay school. Its for just gays, bisexuals, and lesbians.

I dont think that there is anything wrong with helping out that section of the populations, but thats not what they are doing.

New York says that these students are being beat up and isolated in the main schools. This is a problem that I feel needs addressing. New York felt the same way.

New York decided to address it by removing the gays from the community and placing them in a separate school. This school with cater to their needs and help them.

This is removal and aversion of a problem, not solving it.

But what I think my problem will be solved short term as it removes the students for a limited time, but upon graduation now the regular students and the gay students are going to be put back together in the real world. This type of separation breeds hate, because it shows that the student who are beating up the gay students that its accepted and instead of being punished, the system just removes the gays.

What does that teach? If I was beating up would I want to be removed from the school, or have my attacker punished?

What next a school for dorks?

Gays Should not be beaten up or assaulted. They also should be taken out of High School. It takes away from the community. Gays and Lesbians are just as important to a schools development academically and socially as any other student.

You need to be exposed to different people at a younger age so that you accept people being different. So you get to see that differences are not bad things. So that this racism and hate stops early in life.

Please, dont remove these people. Protect them. Teach other why it wrong to hurt others. Hire security to protect these types of people.

We need to punish the children and parents promoting the hate and rage. Not punish the victims.

What do the rest of you think?
