New England Pats 2005 Season

Before - After

The New England Patriots Predicted Record.

If you dont like football, run away now

Thursday Sept 9th Home opener against the Indianapolis Colts

Well Patriots fans crack open a beer because this one will be a win. Dont even break a sweat, the Colts are a sorry ass team when they are staring down the gun of a Bill Belichick designed defense. The Colts have NEVER won in Foxboro, including the years when the Pats were 2-14. I dont think a team thats lost 7 consecutive games to us, will be able to change history in the home of the unchanged superbowl champion Patriots. This is a guaranteed win.

Sunday Sept 19th @ Arizona Cardinals

This is a trap game, just like Texans were last year. I actually think that there is very little way we CAN lose this game since the Cardinals have as many weapons as an Amish schoolgirl, but I will say this; its likely we could loose this game. Also Pats fans should think about traveling to Arizona for this game, cause tickets/hotel/plane will be cheaper than a seat at Foxboro.

Bye Week

2 things. First, Bills only lost one game after a bye week. Second, if we lost to the Cardinalsthe next team will be decimated.

Sun Oct 3 @ Buffalo Bills

Dead. The Bills are dead. They beat us last year, and we wont let that happen again. The Bills suck, and will be punished for sucking. Drew Bledsoe will be destroyed. Lawyer Milloy has a broken arm, and hes still their best defensive player.

Sun Oct 10th Home against Miami Dolphins.

We almost always beat them at home, but now they are coming up here for the warmer weather. There is a chance we will loose this game, but since they lost their running back (their only real weapon) I dont really think their passing attack will be able to get the job done. If our team works even up to 50% capacity, well squish the fish.

Oct 17th Home against the Seattle Seahawks

This team that is a playoff contender, but only won a single away game (against the cardinals) all of last year. So what we are saying is a inexperience road team is coming to the patriots house and win? Against the superbowl champs? I dont think so.

Oct 24th Home against the New York Jets

I fear the Jets and they always steal games from us. We are going to lose this one at home. Pennington is good, and we wont be able to stop this teamthis week. I predict a loss.

Oct 31st At Pittsburgh Steelers

I dont really respect the Steelers and we have beaten them several times at their house. I mean, do they have any good players on offense that arent Hines Ward? Pittsburg is like a 7-9 team, and we will give them one of those 9s

Nov 7th At the St. Louis Rams.

The Rams are a good team, and we will be playing on at their house, on their turf. Now, Adams never missed a dome (inside field) field goal, -except for the Texans game, but that didnt happen- and Brady is money on the road, but since the defense is a little week, and with Steven Jackson AND Marshall Faulk well lets tip the hat in favor of the Rams. Pat looses a shootout.

Sunday Nov 14th Home against Buffalo Bills

Drew Bledsoes done. See above, but now we are playing at home.

Monday Night 9:00 at Kansas City Chiefs

This is when the wheels fall off. The next two games are AT Kansas City, and home against Baltimore. We will loose one of those games, but not the other one. I think we will probably win the Baltimore game, but the Monday Night extravaganza could be a hideous game as well. If the Pats win both of these, we are gods.

Sunday Nov 28th Home against Baltimore Ravens

This might be the most physical and tough game all year. I dont want to play Baltimore, but I will if we have to. I think we are more likely to win this one though because I think its a week that Jamal Lewis is missing due to his court date.

Sunday Dec 5th At Cleveland Browns

This game will be disgusting. It will be cold, both teams are scrappy. The browns play us well every year, and Brady throws a pick or two in this game. The Browns do something dumb, and we win like 5 to 2. When I say not worth watching, I mean it. This is the worst game all year, and The Cod always thinks we are going to loose it. Frankly, after the KC and Baltimore game, if we lost those twowe might lose this one. (but thats not going to happen)

Sunday Dec 12th home against Cincinnati Bengalese

They suck. They are done. They beat us in preseason, but who the hell gives a crap. Its preseason. Rohan Davey threw like 80 yrds for 2 picks. Bring it cats. You will have about 4 wins by that point in the season.

Monday Dec 20th at Miami Dolphins

This warm weather game shouldnt favor the fading Dolphins hoping to keep their terrible heads above water. Miamis football team kinda sucks. I think I might fly down there just to see them get pounded by the NEP.

Sunday Dec 26th At the New York Jets

As most psychics would sayits hazyI cant make anything out

The Jets are a tough team. I hate them, but if they are playoff hungry, well, this might be a tough tough game. The day after Christmas, we might see a head to head match to remember. I really think we will split with the Jets, but who knows. Chad Pennington might be the leader the New York fans want him to be.

Sunday Jan 2nd The Pats at the San Francisco 49ers.

This is a cupcake game. I have San Fran slated to be in last place in FOOTBALL. One to two wins all year.

So overall we are talking 12-4, and a trip to the playoffs as the division leaders. I dont want to face the Jets or Raven in the postseasonhowever I would like to face the Colts, Chiefs, or Titans in a playoff game.

Will the Pats win the superbowl again? I dont know, but I do think they have a pretty good shot at making the postseason.

So to football fans everywhere, 1 week from Thursday is the home opener.
