Rule number 1 "don't be a jerk". live by that one and you should be golden. Me and T decided that if we ever live together/marry, that it will have to be like tim burton and helena whatever carter. 2 seperate houses connected by a corridor. It would have to be that way, we're both jerks.

Comprimise is the operative word here. But there are a few things that we each have have ultimate say on, one of mine is the brand of Ketchup we stock...HEINZ...there are no other kinds. She seems to have say over all the rest...Although, I suppose it's possible that she secretly prefers Heinz too and just goes on pretending to give me the impression that I have final say over something...great...now I'm depressed...:\

June 9th, 2005. That's the last time. We were set to move out the next day. So timing was everything.

Compromise, sure, but more important (I think) is acceptance. Remember you are living WITH somone, not FOR them. Goes for both of you. You don't have to embrace everything the other person does, but you have to be able to live with it. (Hey - I've been out of the loop for awhile -- so congrats! I'm happy for you!)
