People that live in the Ne England area that are having a rough time (ie; fucking all of us) should get together and do the rational thing: get goddamned shitfaced together. I'm in! =)

I meant New England. I have no idea where Ne England is.

Well hello Sunshine. It's good to see you back and so happy. Really though, thats great news about your mum, I hope the pain part passes quickly.

glad to hear about your mom. i hope things continue to go well for her and that it cheers you up. and keep jogging, if you do jog. they say that chemically, the "runner's euphoria" usually associated with joggers is the same as what pot does for your brain chemically {only to a lesser degree}. you get that endorphin rush and feel all happy and tingly from jogging in the beginning. i think it fades when you push for a really long time. then it's just painful punishment.

I used to run lots and lots, and I never once got that endorphin rush. Its too bad.

I live in the Northeast too and long around February, I've pretty much had it with the winter weather and I'm at that point right now. Arggh! Gray clouds and snow - Be Gone!!! p.s. I'm an avid walker and although I don't have any endorphins schpinning around, I do miss walking in the winter. A treadmill just isn't the same. Happy happy for your Mom!!

I hear you. I hate the in-between mood. It's so frustrating. Maybe we should drink more?

Hey Gump. I'm glad to hear the news about your mom. I hope it is the end like you said. My wife and I are currently going through a similar situation with her sister. She was diagnosed in early December. It made for a strange holiday season. I've never experienced cancer this close to me before. So it helps to hear when others have gone through it and how they coped.

The question for me is never whether the glass is half-full or half-empty...the important thing is what's in the glass. Happy to hear your Mom's doing better.

Good to hear your Mom is through with the radiation. Your glass is definitely half full. But I know if you had some more sunny days that might help your ambivilance right now. Winter can really get one down.
