BOONE! I loved your goodbye. I like every girl on your list except for that skeez from desperate housewives. I must punch her repeatedly in the face, its a mission now. On and kudos on Famke. I have such a girl crush on her. (I heard, i mean saw, I mean know, that Watts has great tits)

Gumphood - 2005-11-23 13:25:13
Wait...Kelly you like Jennifer Love Hewitt? Please CLEAR that up!
-------------------------------
Kelly - 2005-11-23 13:26:37
I wouldnt say I like her, more I feel sorry for her. She's not really done anything besides be kind of pathetic. People just hate on her too much. I think she probably cries a lot, haha.

YES, the t-shirt model! I keep seeing her EVERYWHERE! She's really cute. But...Tim Allen? That was really unnecessary.

You know why this exercise pisses off more women than it entertains? Because they're all looking for themselves in the people you pick, regardless of their level of interest in you.

Because even if a woman isn't interested in you, she wants you to be interested in her. And women forget that unless they have leprosy, all men are interested in them.

Women will also deny what I just wrote about them at length, but that doesn't make it any less true.

Pfirsich - 2005-11-23 14:18:41
I had been dreaming of Joey Lawrence for some time and cause he was dating Jennifer Love Hewitt I loathed her. Oh,I also kind of am pissed off by Natalie Portman.Because everyone is making such a big fuss about her, cause she went to university, too,or whatever. You know,I am more jealous when people think other girls are smart.Well,or when they really are. From your list I think ROSE McGOWAN is the most beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my God,the ivory skin.I think she is hellishly beautiful.(Like, after you,of course.)---But I dont hate her,I dont know,Im not upset, fantasy wise I would want to be her friend, bring her drinks and stuff,do things for her-the usual stuff. But TV is enough,too...---Oh,but I love you first, you got that, right? Dont feel outnumbered.Youre the only one I want to touch. And youre like too good for TV,you know...

betty - 2005-11-23 14:27:03
tee shirt model is my newest crush. good picks. Honestly. Only one girl on that entire list made me vomit in my mouth. That was jennifer lovetosuckatmovies h. no talent. not that pretty. weird smile. the chick from x-men? Famke. Loveeee her.
-------------------------------
Anneliese - 2005-11-23 14:29:22
Kristin Kreuk is so fucking beautiful. Now I'm aroused, shit. And jealous, too, but that doesn't make me hate her. It just makes me hate me more!

Gump, as much as I love you for posting a picture of my dreamy boyfriend (and yours, too, apparently)Tom Brady, I really have to take issue with the Paris Hilton thing. She's boney, and all her hotness is completely fake - her hair, her eyes, her nose... I don't understand it. All the other chicks were hot, though (except Natalie Portman - I like her, but she's getting weird looking. Oh, And Keira Knightley - her mouth is weird and her voice KILLS ME.). Also, I'm a straight girl, and I'm in love with Jessica Alba.
-------------------------------
Gumphood - 2005-11-23 14:42:16
Oh I totally don't like Paris Hilton, but I'm just saying girls REALLY don't like her. Like if I had a choice between Paris and "Girl X" most the time I'd take girl X.

The Fun Police - 2005-11-23 14:44:01
Infamy, you are under arrest for continually leaving the most pompous comments. Unless you hail from another planet, you should probably face the fact that you are just like everyone else no matter how many comments you leave feigning your superiority. There is something called "having fun", you should look into it.
-------------------------------
Matty - 2005-11-23 14:51:01
I agree on many...maybe even most. I sent you some of mine already. I don't watch (much) TV so my imaginary girlfriends are in movies or are singers. But I have to say I was really surprised not to see Evangeline Lilly on your list. It would be hard to make a hotter girl than her. In a few more years, Vancouver will be filled with girls who look like Kristin Kreuk because there are so many (SO many!) white/asian marriages these days. Mixing...is good.

Funny thing...I was watching Lost with my buddy Ryan and he actually recognized her from the same place I did at first...Ryan used to take credit card info for a sex chat line called LiveLinks and EL was in their ads.

I really don't get why anyone likes Paris Hilton. It just doesn't make sense to be famous because you're famous.

1. My old 9female)roommate and I have referred to JLH for years as "Jennifer Love Divot" because of that weird chicken-pox-scar-like divot in between her eyes. It bugged my other (male) roommate, who loved her, no end. 2. Eliza Dushku is my imaginary girlfriend. I would totally change churches for her.

Belle - 2005-11-23 16:06:31
Gump, that's a GREAT list! Those women are all very beautiful. Look, the way I see it, if women are threatened by a guy's fantasy babes, that shows a self-esteem/insecurity problem on THEIR part. Most grow out of that by the time they're 30. You seem to have the same taste as my nephew, who, coincidentally, is about your age. He loves brunettes. Loves'em. The only female star I don't understand the big attraction to is Jennifer Aniston. I think she's really plain. But I wouldn't rag on her. Or Paris. Actually, I kind of LIKE Paris. Seriously! Maybe because in my pre-adolescence I had this fascination with being filthy rich. As for Marilyn Monroe, I think something is wrong with a man if he DOESN'T find her attractive. A dear friend of mine at work explained her appeal: She's womanly in a va-voomy kind of way, but she has an underlying aura of vulnerability. Crap, I should just go away and write an entry of my own instead of putting one in your comments. Heh.

I cant think of any celebrity that Id make an imaginary girlfriend/boyfriend. OH that guy in the Gwen Stefani video "cool" he's hot, he's not really a celebrity though. Oh Jake Ghylennanshdlaksdh...aka Donnie Darko, he's hot. I totally cannot think of any girls though..there are a couple Id go shopping with and drink 8 dollar coffees with but..none Id date.

P.S. I agree with pompous Infamy. Completely. That's how I am. I mean really, NONE of those girls on your list look like me. What the fuck is up with that? Am I like the opposite of what guys want?
-------------------------------
Pompous Infamy - 2005-11-23 16:44:01
Betty - of course not, don't be silly. Unless you have leprousy. And even then, the non-leprous guys are thinking: Leprousy eh? Where, exactly?

Gumpy, I'm very glad that you like Marilyn Monroe. She makes Paris Hilton look like a q-tip. A used q-tip. Ewwwwww. Also, Paul Walker is definitely the male Jessica Alba- very nice looking, but in a completely brain dead way. You need more people from LOST on your list. I'm just saying.
-------------------------------
Matty - 2005-11-23 17:48:39
Infamy:

One of the best Canadian retorts I can ever remember was my pal Kris, who was in the Canadian Army. (for the info of US readers, Canadians pronounce the word lieutenant like the Brits do: "leff-tennant"

So Kris is on exchange at some US base and says leff-tennant to some American superior officer. The officer snorts and says "where'd you get the f in loo-tennant?"

Kris says coolly: "same place as you got the R in Colonel, Colonel."

*end unrelated tangent*

Uh, yeah, um...Gump? When you're done reediting with all the hotness in Lost, go check out Morena Baccarin from Firefly.

You know I was actually looking for myself in the men he picked...I can totally see myself in tim allen...definitely...oh and topher...thats really me. Geez...I do wish I could be those guys that you like. Girls aren't really as predictible as you people may think.

Amazing insight! Here's my approval ratings: Naomi Watts (7) I gave her a 7 then added a 1 point bonus for being so attractive at her age but then had to take a point away for having blonde hair. Jessica Alba (2) Arrgh, what do guys see in her? I agree with the term "braindead" and I don't find Paul Walker attractive in the least for the same reason. Josie Maran (4) Who? Topher Grace (9) I absolutely love men who make me laugh. Natalie Portman (3) I can't find someone attractive who annoys the heck out of me. Alicia Keys (8) Hmm. I haven't ever thought of her as someone to find attractive. But that's why I'm giving her an 8, cuz she doesn't need her beauty to overshadow poor musical talent *cough cough* Paris Hilton *cough*. Charisma Carpenter (6) Ian Somerhalder (6) I don't watch Lost (Lost is where he's from right?) Famke Janssen (8) Colin Hanks (8) You do have weird taste in men. Anonymous Girl (8) Where can I get one of those shirts? Eva Longoria (2) She's not attractive. She's just not. I'm not even saying that out of jealousy. She's just not attractive. Bridget Moynahan (10) And my girl crush is on Angelina Jolie and most favorite sexy guy I think is ........ Vin Diesel. Yum.

Phil - 2005-11-23 20:45:39
Solid list my friend! It may help to clear up the JLH attraction that women can't understand, if they realise we don't want her to talk or sing. Just bounce up and down in front of us. Did I ever tell you I once saw Naomi Watts on Bondi Beach in a bikini top and cut off jeans? BEST DAY EVER.

thegoodbiboy - 2005-11-24 09:59:52
Yes, I'd say we agree on more then a few girls! I'm not a big Natalie Portman fan, but I agree with you on this list.

awittykitty - 2005-11-24 11:42:25
Good man, Gump. Glad to hear about your brunette preference. Which female do I dislike? Jennifer Aniston. What is so freakin' exciting about her? She looks like a constipated librarian. My girl crush is on Angelina Jolie. Definitely.

willowfox - 2005-11-24 12:13:33
Oooh, this one brought on a lot of comments!!! I honestly don't get why you think I'd be angered by crushes you have, but I do think it's funny that you hit the nail on the head of all the female actresses I can't stand. Funny! The only reason I can't stand JLH is because we were born on the EXACT SAME DAY and have the same first name, yet she is famous and I'm, like, not. SMG is just really irritating to me, and Jennifer Aniston is also irritating, though I have been enjoying the "America's Sweetheart" spin they've been putting on her lately. I couldn't agree with you more on choosing the following: Naomi Watts, Natalie Portman, The T Shirt girl (she's gorgeous, really fun, great sense of humor and absolutely non-threatening, the perfect girlfriend for your guy friend to have) Keira Knightly (give her some more credit, she's perfect!), Kate Beckensale and Ashley Judd. If I was into the ladies, I'd be all over them. My favorite part, though, is that you picked Topher Grace, who I have loved for YEARS. He is like the male T-shirt model. Gorgeous, really fun, great sense of humor and totally non threatening). Also, MAD props for picking Tadpole. He's awesome. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

sexyatheist - 2005-11-24 15:49:05
kate beckinsale shouldn't be a runner up. she's stunning. and heidi klum is the most beautiful woman on the planet. as for that boone guy, he's way too pretty for me. i saw him once in real life and he's just as stunning as kate beckinsale. give me a man anyday versus a pretty boy. i saw JLH in real life once too. i don't hate her. she's just that chick from party of five.

Kathryn - 2005-11-24 23:31:32
Thank you for a pretty damn good list. I agree with that list, but I am pretty easy to please. I don't even mind JLH, I don't hate her, but I don't love her. I think she is kind of cute in a girl-next-door-with-big-boobies way.

zying - 2005-11-25 04:00:24
read ur entry, and it was definitely refreshing. one of those "reflections" thing at the end of the year where u rate ur favs and least favs. i was absolutely glad that u included topher grace cos i thought he was rather adorable, to the dismay of most of mah mates. he kinda reminded me a lil of tobey macguire, and thats cool. for me, i think you should have added angelina jolie, or like, scarlett johanson or even lucy liu. cos they're on my list. i love alicia keys and jessica alba too. but JLH? shes a lil too angular and feels too artificial. till then, happy thanksgiving (if its alrdy a lil too late) and cya around homey. <3zying

willowfox - 2005-11-26 00:39:55
What's your reaction when girls do the same thing? If any one of us devoted an entry to pictures and explanations of our imaginary boyfriends, what would the GENERAL male reaction be? By that I mean, not necessarily your reaction, just that of a typical male. In reading this over, it sounds like I'm being confrontational. I'm definitely not, I'm just curious, but too tired at this time of night to figure out a better way to phrase. :)

Phil - 2005-11-26 03:15:49
Willow - I think our reaction would be the same as yours. Keep dreaming!

Husband and I BOTH [heart] the Dushku. She is hot -- not Jolie-hot, but hot nonetheless.

Also, Mister Advice-Giver, if I could skip work, I would, but it's kind of difficult when your ONE ROOM is a five-minute walk from your workplace, and you have no way to "call in sick" or any other such nonsense. I tried to put in my two-week notice a while back, but apparently that's a no-go. Stupid Army.

Yeah,Id feel SO threatened by someone as Natalie Portman. To me those were always the types I felt everyone looked at.I dont know.Cause she looks so unsexy,I guess.Sigh.Or,I dont know why.Noone wants an easy girl,I know that. No,wait,I dont know what it is.I feel that guys want someone who is not very nice,hm,not a pushover out of sympathy, someone who is not compassionate.Someone who doesnt feel oblidged to someone else, out of sympathy.Yeah,I always felt like guys looked up to girls who were uncompassionate.

Women I want to be, or would date if I were a man: Kate Winslet, Jennifer Connelly, Cate Blanchette, Angelina Jolie. I know Kate and Cate have a lot of women's approvals, but I don't know about Jennifer. Women have a love/hate relationshipe with Angelina: we would love to be her, would consider having sex with her, but hate her cuz our boyfriends/husbands would more than likely drop us cold dead for her.
