Isn't the idea of walking the dog... letting the dog WALK? Man, that is beyond lame. And, if they start making mai-tai or dirty martini lip gloss, I'm ALL OVER IT.

This catalog is priceless, Gump. As long as you have that, you'll never have to fret about coming up with something to write about again.

Just the thing I needed to read when waking up in the middle of the afternoon. Now all I can do is picture people pushing around their dead pets *shudders* creepy ... but funny too.

You are, somehow, the THIRD PERSON I have heard in two weeks who has mentioned "Batteries Not Included." I loved that movie as a kid, but seriously, is Spielberg somehow implanting its memory into all of our heads??

Gumphood - 2005-09-06 16:30:54
Batteries Not included has offically reached "Strange Childhood Memory" status. I will now check IMDB for memorable quotes.

Mr. Kovacks: Is this what you're talking about? It's full'o junk. It's a storage shed, you idiot.

Carlos: No it's not. It's full of ghosts or spirits or something and they're just trying to make me look bad!

Mr. Kovacks: You don't need ghosts for that.

Haiti Face - 2005-09-06 16:32:51
Carlos: [Seeing a floating tray of hamburgers] What the hell is that?

Faye Riley: Oh it's them. The little guys. My little munchkins.

Carlos: You stay away from me! You're not fooling anybody! Crazy my ass!

Pamela: It's old and depressing!

Mason: It's reality!

Pamela: This is the '80s. Nobody likes reality anymore.

I really wish you'd quit making me looking a damn fool laughing my ass off in my office. Oh, and I've seen someone here in LA with their dog in a stroller. But, this is LA, so I'm not surprised.

1) I would love the froot loop lip gloss so shut up. 2) what exactly are humping noises? Like grunts? If you were really cool you'd make an audio file of you doing humping noises and have it play non stop as soon as you enter the Hood. 3) yeah they're pushing it with "articulating". CHING CHING!

I loved the last idea. If you don't do it, I just may. I am very glad, btw, that I've read these last two entries at home, where nobody can hear me giggle and snort.

Now if they were selling something with Moving Articulating Heads powered with 8 D sized batteries that gave you orgasms...then you'd have my undivided attention!! :-) Great series, Gump!! Heh!

now I've got Batteries Not Included -and- Short Circuit roaming through mny head... and that dog stroller, I wonder if it will lead to dog-attacks-baby incidents... I mean, if a dog gets accustomed to cruising around in it's stroller and then sees a baby in one, or a couple cruising with their strollerized pooch decides to have a baby, who gets the stroller?... two strollers?... the dog is gonna understand that?... I think the FDA and PETA need to investigate... maybe even FEMA, since they don't have much else on thier agenda these days...

kr!kette - 2005-09-08 11:25:45
haha, send me that ornament page off your catalog, i think that's a PERFECT substitution for christmas cards. i'd love to see the look on my in-laws' faces. they're actually stupid enough to believe it.

xquzme - 2005-09-08 12:56:58
Gump, please add a warning to your site: do not read while eating an Applebees Salad -- or something like that. I am currently trying to hork out a bacon bit in my lung.... Between the pet stroller and the ornament you're ordering your Mom... Jesus. Someone please come pound on my back.

Jennifer - 2005-09-08 17:46:44
Please, do the talking ornament for a Christmas card. ..and send me one!
