I already did my day's entry, but there is one thing I don't care for at all that society just seems to adore: Disney characters. I hate Mickey Mouse and all of his friends, except for Donald Duck because he's prone to cussing when he's mad. Mulan was a wannabe, and the Little Mermaid was a whiny cry-baby (although Ursala was a rockin' righteous gal). Stitch has some potential for cuteness, but those sharp teeth sort of frighten me. (I have a Guestbook now. Go sign it.)

Tagging. I just don't get it.

The thought of X3 makes me sad. Everyone I know likes Red bull. Last week the only specials at the bar involved red bull. It smells like ass and it tastes worse. (I'd imagine, haha). Seriously, if you need that much help having energy while out partying, try cocaine. that way I wont have to smell it or have it spilled on me.

I hate it when people don't tag me personally.

Myspace confuses me too. "Oh, look," those people seem to say, "I have a webpage. And look at this FANTASTIC collection of whositwhatsits on the side there. AND TAG ME ON THE BOTTOM OF MY PAGE IF YOU'RE A BAND I NEED VALIDATION AND RECOGNITION FROM YOU TO MAKE SURE YOU'RE REAL." Sure, sure, it's kind of like Diaryland in a way just then, but Diaryland has heart. Heart, I say! I also don't understand the girl jeans that keep slipping down the back. Totally not comfortable. Thank God for hoodies that cover that all up. I never understood the fasination with Punk'd or Crank Yankers. And little kids in commercials that say they hurt themselves skateboarding and that mommy gave them cream for the scar. But this is off topic, no?

I admit it, spelling matters to me, and I will continue to mock those that refuse to do it right. Mock often, and mock unapologetically.

Typos don't count. Usually. I mean, if there are tons, yes. You'd look at what you were writing by hand, right?

Maybe it's the fact that I read emails from Illiterate America all freakin' day long that lends to my lack of patience when people can't/won't spell things correctly. Yeah, I think that's it. People who make simple statements look like they were typed with fists of ham get no love from me.

String ties - I never got that fashion statement. What is it meant to say. I'm so retarded I need to carry a spare shoe lace?

It's rare that someone is a good writer and a bad speller, because usually it's a necessary condition of being a good writer that you have a feel for the language, and USUALLY (but not always) having a feel for the language entails knowing how to spell.

I was about to try to make fun of flounder for spelling "vomitin'" ... but my own phonetic spelling rather invalidates the joke, hm? :)
