That song that goes, "Hush, keep it down, voices carry." I always thought it was "Hush, keep it down cause it's scary." ha I still start to sing it like that today and have to stop myself.

The NIN song is "Closer."

Come on. You know you love Vanilla Ice. What a freaky trip down Memory Lane. "My girl wants to party all the time, party all the time..."

Gumphood - 2005-03-02 10:29:05
Closer to God. Thats right. I couldn't think of it. Thanks Jessie. I think its "Take me downtown...Voices Carry!!!!"

First of all, 90% of my lame songs made cool by me for listening to them, in high school, were on that list! Right Said Fred, Chicago, Vanilla Ice, NKOTB, Uncle Kracker. hahaha. I LOVE about 90% of those songs. Yes, I am lame. My favourite song lyric that I sang wrong for about a year was, "I wanna see you go down on me" when it was really, "I wanna see you go down on one knee." it's from an Avril song. I love that you mentioned Green Day more than once. I am listening to a Green Day cd right now. (International Superhits. The best of the best ;) ) I will take the rest of the survey when I get home from work. I am just running out the door ATM.

Yesss! Now I don't have to think of something to write in my diary. I can just steal another one of your surveys. Thanks bunches and bunches. P.S. I like Fiona Apple too. Her "When the Pawn" album is FRICKEN amazing.

Mary - 2005-03-02 10:48:47
How on earth did "The Sound of Silence" end up on that list? That rip-off of "Pasa Condor" should be there, if any Simon-Garfunkel song is going to be on that list.

Katie - 2005-03-02 11:05:06
I SHALL TAKE IT INSTEAD OF DOING MY HOMEWORK. OH, BURN. (My brain is mush!)
-------------------------------
Gumphood - 2005-03-02 11:54:30
Fair enough. Georgia isn't a city...but the town names are in the song which is defined in the question.

uNCLEPUPMPKIn - 2005-03-02 12:26:42

bethany - 2005-03-02 13:30:47
What you have done for me today is three fold: 1. you ave me some great songs to download. 2. you gave me an entry. 3. you made me look super cool to my friend who is going to LOVE LOVE LOVE filling this survey out. Lets make babies!

Pandi - 2005-03-02 14:01:32
Ummm, Gumpy? There's no "on my knees begging you" in "Stay." It's "I don't understand if you really care, I'm only hearing negative, no, no, no..." This I know because it's the one song I can sing completely in tune by heart and even though I don't do karaoke, if I did, that's the song I would do. The link will take you there.

Procrasto - 2005-03-02 14:07:04
Why was "Daa daa daa" by Trio not listed? Unless it was.
-------------------------------
Gumphood - 2005-03-02 14:24:33
God. Da Da Da is awful
-------------------------------
Anisettekiss - 2005-03-02 14:41:05
And that American Life song by Madonna is NOT awesome in any way... even if it's considered awesomely bad. It's plain bad. Bad, bad.
-------------------------------
Gumphood - 2005-03-02 16:22:05
But is it bad?
-------------------------------
kristina - 2005-03-02 17:20:17
Ahh, you did my survey. Nice. I loved all your answers, oh and that NIN song is called Closer. Wish I'd thought of it for my answers.

It's so nice to see a man who is in touch with his feminine side, or who can at least tolerate Fiona long enough to get laid. My other comments...re: title of NIN song and Georgia not being a city...have been covered. And I agree with who ever said that "Condor Pasa" shit was the only S&G thing that belonged on that list.

march - 2005-03-04 15:37:36
The super sweet 16 theme song is Sweet Sixteen by Hilary Duff
