This really resonated with me too. I sent it around to other 20-somethings.

goddammit... I didn't fill in the "required fields" and it erased my entry. It was really funny too.

and its doesn't stop at 30 either. About half my friends are similar to me. Not married, no kids so we have less financial responsibilities. We work, we travel, we drink, we play xbox, see bands all the time. Pretty much everything is similar to being 25 but we've got more money to do things without having to sleep on a couch. Great article.

GOOD article! Doesn't apply to me, though. I'm Ms.Independent, at nineteen. Plan on staying that way. Full time job, full time studies, bills to pay, loans to pay. It reminds me of a few friends of mine, though. Although, they're still at the bottom end of the age group being discussed, they're content to live with their parents, and let their parents pay for them, while they spend all of their own money on "partying". It would be nice to be able to do that, but you've gotta grow up sometime. I chose sooner, rather than later.

That was a really informative article, I always wondered about what I was..being inbetween Gen X and Gen Y, I guess that makes me a twixter. That article represents the situation about 80% of my friends are in and also alot of my own mindset that I wasn't even aware of came through in what I just read. Such as my fear of settling down in one job and one place, having children..etc. Though I guess I'm on the path to "true adulthood", making my way..

the author this article forgot to mention that twixters don't have an attention span, therefore readers missed the message towards the bottom that said twixters are basically fucked.
