BRavo on that. Youa re so right on about the Beatles Christmas songs, so very horrible. I heard the absolute bottom of the barrel just yesterday though, right up there with the new shoes song ugh! Its called something like "When Santa Claus Met Jesus." And I swear this is true, JEsus acts like Rudolph and guides Santa on Christmas eve, while powering the sleigh with the holy spirit. Oh my it made me want to vomit in terror.

my favoritest christmas album of all-time is the 4 season's christmas album. nothing like frankie valli whining out "christmas tears" like a soprano who just sucked helium. also, a song from a london kids' choir album we had when i was little: a song that goes "I'll borrow a stocking from Mrs. Elephant and have a big Christmas this year". good stuff.

brillant entry! I spent a good portion of last week downloading Christmas songs for a party this week. i came across some of those.. so it really hit home. I stuck with the Bing Crosby/Judy Garland/Burl Ives versions instead of opting for N*Sync or Mariah Careys lame ass attempts. The bealtes did have one great xmas song :Happy Christmas (War Is Over) by John Lennon. Good stuff.
