Is Boston a second cousin to Chicago?

Boston is to Chicago as The Red Sox are to the Cubs.

But if we are talking bands then Boston is to Chicago is Gwen Stephani's album title "Love Angel Music Baby" is to the Red Hot Chili Peppers "Blood Sugar Sex Magic"

great, now I've got "Amanda" in my head. and as a side note, don't feel bad if you're not a musical genius. I enjoy music if it's got really super-terrific lyrics or if it sounds good. I don't memorize CD liners (like someone people I know *coughmyhusbandcough*). And I do have the song "Amanda" in my head, but I had to check with someone first to make sure it was a Boston song.

I love that dirty water. Boston never made a song about Boston. Lame.

who voted on the rolling stone shit? florida? I want a recount! Pink Floyd gets two songs and they can't make it past #300? And wtf is JAMES TAYLOR doing on a "greatest songs" list? Where are TMBG? And why is Weezer all the way at 497? I think it's no coincidence that the #1 song on the ROLLING STONE list is "Like a ROLLING STONE", and #2 is actually by the ROLLING STONES. I mean, come on. How did the Bee Gees get in front of ANYONE?

about 6 years ago while sitting around a table at the local bar a friend said, "Want to go to boston with us?" I got all excited spouting off that I had never been there but always wanted to go blah blah blah. They said the band you idiot. It never occured to me that the members of boston were still alive much less people making plans and spending money to see them in concert. And I'm the idiot.

That is the sorriest list of songs I have ever seen. And that is the sorriest story I ever read. That is all.
