Hooray! I get to be the first to welcome you back! Philly does suck. You might as well have came to Pittsburgh, just as sucky but in a cleaner way. I'm with you on the food thing. When out I order stuff on different plates...with my pinky extended.

Why does Philly suck? Does it suck worse than New Jersey? I've only been there once, but that was a long time ago and it was on a band trip and we all know that band geeks are oblivious to most things (meaning: things that are unrelated to band).

There's a complete one-act play by David Ives called "The Philadelphia" which is hilarious and goes along with your theme, Gump (ie. Philly sucks). I played the waitress in the play for two different performances. If you get the chance to read it, I am sure you'll love it. David Ives is the man! Look for his book entitled "All In The Timing."
