I loved the sentiment and thought-provoking things you wrote about in this last entry. I also really enjoyed the quote from the wise man you included. This is a topic I've thought about often. You know what's a bigger conundrum though? When you love two different people at once for different yet equal reasons. Is there such a thing as ONE person to do it all for you? Are humans a monogamous species? I have yet to find one guy who has filled all of my God-shaped holes, so I might sound pessimistic. Or maybe I'm just a realist....

I think I've said in my journal, I believe that I love something about every person I date. So I love them all in one way or another. I believe that there are so many differant capacities for love that you can't just take "true love" and slap it on to a relationship. It's like having two sisters and loving both of them, but loving different things in each of them.

I understand about losing enthusiasm with the stuff of life. A few weeks ago I was a bit restless myself. The trick to staying fresh is to be active about it. Seek, and ye shall find, as it were. http://pandionna.diaryland.com/040227_6.html

Some experiences get duller the more you experience them. But my, er, experience (for lack of a thesaurus) has led me to believe that some never get old. That sounds kind of sappy. What's gotten into me. At any rate, I'd rather have increasingly duller experiences than no experiences at all.

I have only loved (In a romantic sense)two people and one of them is not in my life at this time but I still love her on some level. I loved them both at the same time, and I do not feel that one love was better or one made the other cheapen. I have asked many people if they are the same and they answer no. That this one did this and that one did that and that took the love from them. I don't understand that. As far as life getting old. Well it does at times, just as relationships become boring. but for me things are a cycle and one just has to wait for it to come back around and it will be exciting and fun again. That is the only way I can make it through the boring times. I hope you are doing well. Love me

yeah, I've been moving around all over the place lol. This is for good though, it's mine, I paid for it and it's going to stay there forever. PS: I've only been in love once, and it hurts bad enough, I couldn't imagine being in love with two people at once. Ughness.

I still love all of my past loves, perhaps now a bit more than I loved them before. I love them for the lessons they taught me and for the things they made me feel. I love my current love the most though because he is different from all the others. He is here, with me, and the others are nothing more than fond memories. Friends more than likely, steps on the path to righteousness. My teachers.
