Oh man! I love your description of Bobby and Jani!

Sadly enough, my song with my ex was "Ball and Chain". At the time we had this joke about it being played at our wedding.

OOOps! I tell a lie. Just as I was typing that first bit, I remembered. "You Look Wonderful Tonight" by Eric Clapton. Really tender moment related to senior prom on that one. Nearly ran out of a store the first time I heard it after we broke up....Damn SONG!

I loved this entry. It reminded me of a song lyric: "Even when the whole world has forgotten, the song remembers when." ~ 'Song Remembers When' by Trisha Yearwood

you know, after a while, when I listen to a song that reminds me of an ex, it makes me happy that I am not with them anymore but I got mad sex with them anyway. GO SONGS!

No, Trisha Yearwood you're not, but your entry was nice and thought-provoking.

I can relate moments in music to most stops along the timeline of my life (thus far). This even escapes the realm of the boyfriend/girlfriend/spouse/blah blah blah thing - it's more about everything in my life. This is a reformed band geek, music-major-turned-accounting-nerd, speaking here. But I do refuse to have an "our song" with anyone - I'm not sharing my music!

"The song" is good while you're together but then it just sucks. I wish I had never associated songs with anyone.

Larry is the only guy I've really had a song with, but we're married, so that's ok. But there are certain songs that definintely take me back to a guy. "Saved the Best for Last" instantly takes me back to my first kiss, which was definintely not the best, thank God.
