2003-05-27 - 10:14 a.m. You know what sucks You know what sucks When you go to the beach and it rains all weekend. Then, the hotel you are staying in has �rules� like no talking and no more than 4 people in a room at anytime. And then they actually have someone to enforce these rules, buy making rounds and doing room inspections. A bitchy woman who yells at use because she think we are kids. Oh yeah, also old skunky beer sucks too, especially when you drink it all weekend in your cold, isolated room. Also what sucks is when the only other people staying at the hotel are Lowell High School seniors after their high school prom, and you are mistaken for teenagers. This really sucks when you are seen holding beer in public. And get carded by non-police hotel staff members. Like the doorman. Also when the hotel refuses to maid clean your room because of underage drinking occur in your room. Even though everyone is over the age of 22. They just assume. Also what sucks is when you play non-drinking board games because it�s too wet to go outside Or when you are the designated driver to the brewery tour, and just have to pass on the free samples. Or when you realize that everyone you are with loves American Idol, and decided to have an impromptu American Idol party where they play the songs from the CD�s of American idol 1 and 2 from the first week until the last week. Did I say everyone, because everyone except your girlfriend who thinks of this music as nails on the chalkboard, as we listen to Clay Aiken turn Bridge over Trouble water into a Hollywood Ballad. And it also sucks that it was raining, and we decided to go walking anyway to get out of the hotel. And we got really wet. But went shopping anyway. And what sucks beyond all of that is that this was my vacation weekend. | |||||||||||
